Position Summary

Responsible for the overall strategic management of the company's products portfolio along with the Marketing agenda and business connectivity in order to add value while ensuring product movement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Builds Marketing and Midstream cohesiveness and develops the group through coaching, mentoring and making training available.  Supports and promotes the LINN Core Values within the organization.
  • Manages activities that impact the Marketing G&A budget.
  • Leads Commercial Marketing activities within Linn and presents marketing ideas and activities to management.  Supports Marketing and corporate goals/strategies.
  • Ensures contract obligations and compliances are upheld in the agreements.
  • Promotes flow assurance, protects and creates Linn's hydrocarbon values, and originates/maintains effective internal and external relationships to ensure optimization of hydrocarbons.
  • Manages various commercial decisions in order to maximize cash flow and production. 
  • Commercializes Linn-owned facilities for additional value and product generation. Seeks opportunities with both equity and third-party volumes.
  • Assists various disciplines, asset teams, and Midstream to ensure the development of infrastructure/projects where commercial issues warrant.
  • Responsible for analyzing the oil, gas, ngl and helium markets and understanding competitors.
  • Provides support for litigation, credit, audits, and BD activities.  Interfaces Commercial Marketing activities with other groups within Linn.

Education, Certificates, Licenses

  •   Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience

  • Level of complexity generally requires knowledge, skills and abilities acquired through 10+ years of oil and gas sales experience.

Work Environment

  • Primarily office work environment. 
  • Routine work involves common office activities during a typical 9-hour day such as standing, sitting, walking, typing, and twisting as necessary.
  • May be required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must follow all company safety policies, including when visiting field locations.
